Jerry Damme, OD
Dr. Damme is a comprehensive optometrist who specializes in routine and problem-focused eye examinations, contact lens fittings, pediatric eye care, urgent eye care, and pre- and post-operative care.

Dr. Damme is a native of Auburn, Nebraska, and received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Houston. He earned his doctor of optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1976. After graduation, he first worked as an optometrist at St. Joseph Hospital Eye Clinic, and then opened his own practice in Papillion in 1977. Dr. Damme joined Midwest Eye Care in 2009.

Dr. Damme has made several trips to third world countries to provide eye care through the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) program. He has resided in Sarpy County for over thirty years and has been a member of the Papillion Area Lion’s Club since 1977.

Dr. Damme is licensed for the practice of optometry by the state examining board of Nebraska. He is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
