Michael Feilmeier, MD
Dr. Feilmeier is a specialist in corneal transplantation, refractive and cataract surgery and diseases of the cornea and anterior segment. A native of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Dr. Feilmeier received a bachelor of science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. Dr. Feilmeier completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of California San Diego and his ophthalmology residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. He completed his formal training with a fellowship in cornea, anterior segement and international ophthalmology at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. During his residency and fellowship, Dr. Feilmeier provided care and trained eye surgeons in Haiti, India, Nepal, the Dominican Republic and Ghana. Dr. Feilmeier joins Midwest Eye Care in July 2010.

Dr. Feilmeier is board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is licensed to practice medicine in Nebraska and Iowa.
