Everett Madson, MD
Dr. Madson is a specialist in diabetic eye disease; glaucoma treatment; retina, vitreous and laser surgery; and cataracts and implants. A native of Omaha, he received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, a master of science degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City and a medical degree from Case Western Reserve Medical School in Cleveland. Following an internship at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital, Dr. Madson completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals. He joined Midwest Eye Care in 1971.

Dr. Madson serves as director of retinal fellowship program for the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, is a consultant to area managed care organizations, and is the past chief of surgery for a metropolitan hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He provides volunteer services to the Hope Medical Outreach Coalition and is a long-time consulting member to United Health Care for "Diabetes Care 2000."
